Angels in Blue Jeans isn’t just a design.
It’s a story.
The phrase was lovingly given by a homeowner who saw volunteers- dressed in blue jeans and tennis shoes- show up to make their home warmer, safer, and drier. There’s something extraordinary about ordinary people coming to Central Appalachia to serve neighbors they haven’t even met before.
What started as a simple expression of gratitude became something more: a name that now represents every ASP volunteer who serves with humility, heart, and intention across the mountain region we call home.
If you’ve ever served with ASP, this title belongs to you. Angels in Blue Jeans captures the spirit of ASP- volunteers who show up as they are, no experience required, simply with a heart to serve.
